Absorptive dressings - Mild

Absorptive wound dressings with mild or minimal absorption, such as hydrocolloid dressings and island dressings with a non-adherent Telfa pad, are designed for wounds with low exudate. These dressings gently absorb exudate, maintain a moist healing environment, and protect the wound from external contaminants. They are not suitable for use as primary dressings for wounds with moderate to high exudate.
